Christian Education

Our Christian Education Department is dedicated to the spiritual development and growth of the saints. Strong emphasis is placed on the teaching of the Word of God in a way that every age group can understand. We believe that our Sunday School Department sets the tone for the entire day by creating an atmosphere of worship and training early in the morning. Our classes vary from pre-school to adult.

Our Christian Education Department also focuses on, and is the primary evangelism wing of the New Mt. Olive Apostolic Church. Each year, the Christian Education Department sponsors the following events:

Hospitality Committee

Our Hospitality Committee is dedicated to making sure that anyone who visits our church has a pleasant experience. Understand the fact that, “You only get one chance to make a first impression.” This committee wants to make sure that from the time you drive up, until the time you leave; you can feel the love that is a trademark of this ministry. We also do follow up with the first time visitors via our mail ministry.

Men’s Ministry (Brotherhood)

The Men’s ministry places strong emphasis on developing men, both young and old, into the spiritual heads that was a part of God’s original design. Also, teaching men what God had in mind when he created man. When a man understands his purpose, he then has a better understanding of the position and role he has in his home, the community, and the church.

Prayer Ministry

Every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. our Men’s prayer ministry convenes at our church. This ministry is designed to teach the importance of prayer in the life of a Christian. Teaching is routinely done concerning prayer and also the various teaching of men’s problems and issues.

By the same token, every Saturday at 12:00 noon, our Women’s prayer group convenes which is dedicated to the same issues of developing women in prayer. The doors of the church are always accessible at any time for anyone needing time in prayer.

Youth for Christ

Dynamic, energetic, and spirit-filled ministry designed for the young, and the young at heart. The mission of our Youth Ministry is to inspire, empower, encourage, and equip today's' young people in order that they may be able to effectively cope and succeed it their pressure filled society. Services are held on every 1st Sunday afternoon, and is filled with music, praise and worship, and the word taught and preached from a from a youth point of view. Women’s Ministry (Missionary)

With an acute sense of the complex needs of women both old and young, the Women’s Ministry of the New Mt. Olive Apostolic Church focuses on the growth, development, maturity, and the spiritual and physical deliverance of all women. The range of focus areas are as varied as the needs of women itself. There are ministry areas which focus on single motherhood, singles, marriage training, careers, the development of young women, and personal conduct.

Our Women’s ministry also focuses on helping and healing in both the church family and the community, and will readily shed the white missionary uniform for a work outfit! They also serve in visiting the sick, those suffering in their hour of bereavement, and the writing and sending correspondence to those which are imprisoned.
